SHOP HER CLOSET (SHC) is centered around bringing the Seattle blogging community together, building exposure to the brands they’re passionate about and creating a spirit of fellowship and diversity, and bringing philanthropic consciousness to this new industry. It's a blogging event that is one-part pop-in shop, one-part philanthropy, and one-part party. Ten high-profile fashion bloggers from the Seattle area attend the event to sell items from their blogs and all of the sale proceeds will go to SHC's partner, Dress for Success Seattle.
My job was to work with the coordinators of the event from the very beginning. I created a logo as well as brand guidelines that would determine the look of the entire project. As a sponsored event, I created a Media Kit to be sent to potential sponsors, digital event invites for the participant's pre-launch party as well as the official event invites honoring all who were participating.
The design goal for SHC was to appear community-based, fashion-inspired, and philanthropic-driven. This was achieved through friendly hand-drawn type with matching logomark and dynamic positioning. Additional assets included staff t-shirts, a snapchat filter, Eventbrite headers and more.
